I’m Lynn Dorsky, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) dedicated to helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. Since 2011, I’ve had the privilege of providing therapy in diverse settings, allowing me to develop a well-rounded skill set to meet the unique needs of each client.

About Me
I earned my master’s degree in clinical social work from Simmons University, where I built a strong foundation in therapeutic practice. I am EMDRIA-trained in Basic EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, a proven method for processing trauma and fostering healing. Additionally, I have completed Equilateral training in the Equine-Assisted EMDR protocol, merging my love for horses with therapy to offer a truly distinctive and transformative experience.
My Approach
I take a psychodynamic approach to therapy, helping clients explore the deeper thoughts and emotions that shape their behaviors. While self-discovery can be challenging, I firmly believe that therapy doesn’t have to be all serious—humor can be a powerful tool for growth and healing. Laughter creates connection, relieves stress, and helps us navigate even the most difficult moments with resilience.
Currently, I am also training to become a Facilitator in Equine-Assisted Learning, further integrating the therapeutic power of human-animal connection into my practice. Horses have an incredible ability to mirror our emotions and offer profound insights, making them valuable partners in self-exploration and personal development.
Let’s Work Together
I invite you to embark on this journey of healing, self-discovery, and growth. In a supportive, engaging, and even joyful environment, we’ll work together to uncover insights, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
Thank you for considering me as your partner in this process—I look forward to working with you!
